Mr. Darrell Aubrey Lloyd

Mt. Olive- It is with broken hearts that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Darrell Aubrey Lloyd age, 64 who answered the master’s call on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his residence. Please keep the family in your prayers during their time of bereavement. Mr. Darrell Aubrey Lloyd, 64 was born in Norwalk,CT on March 28, 1961. He grew up in Newfane,VT and New Milford, CT before making North Carolina his permanent home. During his life span Darrell enjoyed Nascar, Wrestling, Bowling (back in the day), Fishing and working with his father. He actually became a Pro-Bowler in his earlier years. Darrell enjoyed playing cards at Don's home with friends. He always kept the family laughing with his attempts to do the moon walk to Michael Jackson songs. He lived his life thinking he could do anything. Darrell also believed he could do anything and everything such as being on reality shows, American Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, and as a great WWE wrestler. He always stayed in touch with the family and all friends being the “Go-To” guy for current family and friend news and events. Darrell truly enjoyed spending time during the holidays with his family whom he adored and loved dearly along with his friends. Darrell was one that you could count on and was always willing to be there and help anyone anytime with anything. Darrell's legacy and life will be remembered by his stepmother Eileen Lloyd and husband, Stan of Havelock, North Carolina. His nieces and nephews along wtih their children who will never forget the love he had for them. His nieces; Crystal Williams of Dudley, NC, Catherine Willard and James of Torrington, CT along with their children, Abby and James, Nicole Raper and Brandon of Las Vegas, NV and their daughter, Becca will truly miss him. Darrell had a very special cousin; Kellee Enos (Dave Barden) of Raleigh, NC and many extended family members including Don and Sharon Tittle of Goldsboro, NC along with their child, Taylor Tittle of Goldsboro, NC; Alicia and Josh Chrisman of Seven Springs, NC, their child, Aliza Tarlton, Mike Tittle of Goldsboro, NC and Jim Airgood of Durham, NC. Along with those above and the many beloved loved aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends will mourn his passing for many days to come. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Paul Donald Lloyd, his mother, Mae Williams, his stepfather Ray Williams, along with his sisters Tracie Williams, Becky Baerg and his Life Partner Judy Airgood. As we all navigate through this time of bereavement, we will never forget Darrell Aubrey Lloyd. We will celebrate his life at a later date and those details will be made public.
